Shares of 92-Year-Old Burlington Road Building Company, KING Paving & Construction Ltd. Sold To Company President

KING Paving and Construction Ltd. is pleased to announce that effective May 1, 2020, all outstanding shares of the company have been acquired by John Hutter, an existing shareholder, and the company’s new President.

Founded in 1928, KING Paving & Construction Ltd. is a fully integrated underground and surface construction company specializing in Municipal and Highway construction and Industrial, Institutional and Commercial projects. Throughout its 92 years in business, KING Paving has built a reputation for high-quality products and reliable service. Its success can be attributed to a strong work ethic and its loyal, dedicated employees. KING Paving is a local business that takes great pride in the communities in which it operates and is a proud supporter of charities such as Carpenter Hospice and Burlington Museums Foundation. The location of KING Paving’s yard and asphalt plant in the Aldershot area of Burlington, ON provides easy access to projects throughout the Region of Halton, Hamilton, and other areas across the GTA.

For almost 40 years the Hutter family name has been synonymous with the KING brand. In 1983, John’s father Hank Hutter, along with two partners, purchased KING Paving & Materials Company from Genstar Corporation of San Francisco.

The purchase of KING Paving follows the purchase by John last fall of King Truck & Equipment Repair which will realign the two companies and provide synergies for both.
